Future of Web Design
Web conference
We are just back from the Future of Web Design conference in London. Well, what an experience it was! The conference was really interesting and we picked up some great tips from speakers including Paul Boag, Larissa Meek, Andy Clarke, Andy Budd, Elliot Jay Stocks, Jina Bolton, Jon Hicks and Daniel Burka. We got to pick the brains of a few of them during the various parties, which was great. They are actually real people and really dead on!

We must say we really enjoyed the free bar at the welcome party, sponsored by Media Temple, which the majority of us took advantage of. So thanks to all the guys at Carsonified! Looking forward to the next one, who knows we might even make it to the NY one…if the bar is free.
We were really surprised at the amount of twittering going on there, everybody was at it constantly on their iPhones. Paddy felt embarrassed to get his trusty old Nokia out in public. People were really obsessed with twittering, posting updating every 2 seconds. By the end of the day we expected to read ‘just breathed in, breathed out again…’ ![]()
We now have a new found love for twittering though, it’s quite addictive. You can follow what The Big Word Project is up to with it’s very own twitter feed.
